Hail to Obama! Hopefully with him as the new President of United States, there will be more peace in the world.

Anyways, don't you think ma title is true? First Lewis Hemilton as the first black F1 World Champion, then the big one, Obama, 1st Balck US President.

What ever it is, I hope this is a sign that everyone is more open and concentrates on the ability one have rather than the colour or race in someone. What's the use of looking at that anyways? When you die God will not ask what colour you were, now would He?

Peace~!

Hahahaha...my my...the risk they take to ensure we have electricity is just overwhelming! This morning on the way to work, we saw this man..hanging on the big, thick electric wire in Kelana Jaya!
Well done TNB..tp next time buat la malam2..seriau ah jatuh atas jalan yg penuh dgn kereta heading for work. :P

My God....as usual..after 1 month baru nak post lg. Actually dah berkali2 been trying to blog. I even blog some entry half way..tp just end up not posting it for what ever reason. Lost the mood on the topics kot.

Anyways, Happy Deepavalli to the indian friends!! :D Simpan muruku for me yeee..and ghee balls!! :D :D

Since yesterday is a public hols, I decided to be rajin and make trifle to bring to Ude's house for dinner. So shafiq and I went to Giant la to shop for the ingredients needed..sekali jalan for the house groceries sekali la.

Anyways, we came across this booth that sells all this Islamic CDs and terjemahan and all. And to my surprise, there it was, CD and DVD Upin & Ipin ..pirated! My goodnes.. I know la ramai org pirate the CDs and DVDs...I was told u can find the pirated version kat Masjid India n all.. tp..kat booth jual bahan2 agama?? Come on man! I should have stopped and sound pakcik tu la. Ish..

My advice to u ppl out there..esp to those yang dah beli pirated version or planning to...it's just RM 15/RM18! Takkan cannot afford?? Dengan alasan untuk beramal. Im sure those yang beli from kedai jual CD agama mesti terpengaruh dgn Upin & Ipin stories yg berunsur keilmuan ttg pengajian berpuasa. So tlg la...beramallah secara halal. Tak berkat ilmu tu kalau the source itself dah haram.

I finally understand the feeling of being left behind. All this while when Aini grumble about how things r so different after I left, I was like "huh? is it..? mcm biasa je..." But what I didnt realise was, I left. I had new environment. I got a white canvas. I could paint anything. The new place has no old memories. It's the opposite for her.

So i made the conclusion, leaving is easier than being left behind. Being a quite-independent person that I am, I always leave. Tp now I realise, when being left behind its even more difficult. When Aze left for Russia, I didnt feel so much cos i left Penang too for KL.

I dunno how ma colleague Nini go thru her days as her husband is in Dubai for the past 2 years. Im sure she feels more pain compared to him. He starts a new life there with new memories. As for her, everywhere she went with him before will bring memories back. Sedihnya...

I hate it when friends leave. Dulu when Mas, ma awesome crazy galfren left TM I could feel the pain of losing her. Adeline, my super great boss left TM pun I nangis. I hate changes. Worst is I hate to face the memories they left behind with me with where I am. Now Dennis's turn. He has been my bestfriend for the past 2 years since I've been slaving ma ass in TM. We do everything together. Ish. It's difficult!!!

But i guess thats life la. Tp to the leavers, fyi...it hurts triply for those you left behind compared to what you feel. I know cos now Ive felt both sides.

Yes..I'm married!! The whole month of August has been my wedding-month! but thats for another post later. I wanna share my Oh-My-God pre-honeymoon trip. No no..not THAT oh-my-god. :P

We had a super tiring weekend before we left for Redang. The wedding..the condo renovation..then Aini's convo. N the next morn, flight for Redang. We've booked an airport limo at 5am to pick us up. But we overslept! So i told the cab driver to wait for 15mins. Being the whiny-ass that he is..he started babling n all before agreeing to stay. Shafiq and I who was still a bit mamai got annoyed so he called up the driver to cancel it. Ofcourse the driver got even angrier la. WHAT EVER! who ask u to get all whiny before?? [ OMG no. 1]

We drove to LCCT and parked there and head to KT. Burn our money for Xpress boarding to KT as we were late due to Subuh prayers. Welcomed in KT by Pak Long, Shafiq's uncle. Had a super nice plate of nasi dagang for breakfast before we were sent to the jetty to get a ferry to Redang. RM100 per person pergi balik ok! So damn expensive!!!

Uda gave us wedding gift of 4d 3nights voucher at Berjaya Resort. our mistake was not to do homework on it. We were given Berjaya SPA resort instead of Beach Resort. Aih..all the havoc at the reception counter! Gotta topup 200 per nite if we want to upgrade to Beach Resort..which was exactly what we did (thanks to mommy, mami & abah!). Who in the world goes to Redang and stay on the hill???????? Gosh...i really dont understand that concept la. Even a city-girl like me doesnt enjoy that. ish. so geram. [OMG no. 2]

All in all our trip was pretty fun. the beach was awesome..water was clear and blue..can c all the fishes!! [ OMG no. 3] we had free meals the whole time we were there as we knew someone who's working there. [OMG no. 4] but the 'fun-activities' were a lil pricey though. But we managed to go snorkling and kayaking still n it was fun fun fun! i hated swimming with fishes before...now im totally ok with it. instead i enjoy it! :D

Our last night there, i suffered a tremendous pain in my left ear. It got worsen the last day there, so Aze suggested that i visit a local doc before flying off. I did..and I had ear infection due to my bad cold the 2nd day I was there. Gosh...ear infection is freakingly painful ok!!! [ OMG no. 5]

Went for a lil shopping in KT before heading bk to KL. Reached here at 10pm..and after checking our parking chip coin, we are charged RM 144!! [ OMG no. 6] Hahahahhahaah! Expected la. Cheaper a bit comparing to taking a cab, one way at RM77.40.

But God really wanted to test us la..even during the last bid of the trip. Our car battery died!!! [ OMG no. 7!] N no one around had jumper to help us out. AAM was just fucking useless. So abah and mami (shafiq's parents) and fatin came la to help. I was sleeping the whole time in the car due to the terrible ear pain. By the time we reach home it was nearly 2am! huhuhu.

The next day, Sat 30th Aug, will be a date I'll remember forever as that was the date I first got admitted into a hosp for a surgery. My ear had major blockage that I need to be under GA for the docs to fix it. Huhuhuhu. [ OMG no. 8] That was quite an experience. Supposed to stay over that night, but this stubborn girl refused so we discharged that nite itself. I felt drowsy even till Sunday cos of the GA and the low blood pressure.

So...thats it. A handful of drama within 1 week..back to back. But i believe God is fair and He will never test his 'employees' if He thinks we cannot handle it.
It was a good start to Ramadhan..tests to polish up on our patience esp since this is the first Ramadhan as husband and wife for myself and shafiq. :)

Selamat Berpuasa to all muslims and Enjoy Good Food for the non-muslims! :)

Cheers~

1st Aug...my last day as Miss Aina as tomorrow I'll officially be Mrs Shafiq/Pn Aina, insyaAllah.

Gosh...23 years of singlehood. So many memories that have contributed to shaping who I am today. I can't seem to be able to list it all down here cos there are just way too many!

What ever it is, thank you to everyone who stick by me till today; ma wonderful bestfriends and close friends who've been great shoulders to lean on when I'm up and down. Most importantly my awesome parents and siblings for being who they truely are in bringing me up and being there for me at all times no matter what. *sobs*

Aih, getting married at such young age when you've been pretty independent requires loads of sacrifices. Ive always had the freedom to do what ever I want while living alone for the past 2 years..n now I'm about to embark the rest of my life with a life partner. Pray for me he is the one and for our lifetime of happiness. :)

Thanks you guys and cheers~

This is one of the most stressful month ever in my life! Just running over what I have to do in my head suffocates me! No surprise that I fall ill often too then..

Having one of those massice headaches today so I skipped work. Staying at home and doing literally nothing hasnt helped either, though it is a lil relaxing not doing or rushing for anything for once. Shafiq picked me up for lunch before heading to workshop to check on my car. The short-hot outting didnt help much in soothing the lil-hammer in ma head nor my mood. Watching 2 episodes of SATC, chatting and watching tv didnt help either..until i drank the magic drink ..VICO! i dont know wether it's the mild awesome chocolate or the fact that I just needed a good drink..but for a brief minute it helped me sooth all the tension away!

I guess this is a small -FOC ad for VICO then. hehe

Cheers~

How true is that? We tend to prioritize the wrong ppl, the wrong things in life. I guess thats how we get in trouble and get hurt.

With the wedding getting nearer, ma mom kept reminding me how the day will be mine and shafiq's and i should put myself before anyone else including my family and friends. as this could work for some ppl..i just cant! even during the busiest time in ma life right now, I still find time to be with my friends. I know i'll be bugged that day if their accommodation and transportation are not arranged properly. Is your big day your biggest selfish day?

But that's life. I came across the title I post up today from a status of my ex-lecturer from MMU. I then realise how true it is! There has been so many times where i end up getting dissappointed and hurt by prioritizing others before myself. Ma koko once said "Just because u r nice to some doesnt mean he or she will be nice to u back". So I guess, if the person is not worth it, then dont waste ur time and attn on them.

Cheers~

Ish..i should be ashamed of of maself. Dah 2 minggu balik baru nak post. :P Been bz la. There's always sthing to do. Even when there are none, ma ass will be glued on the sofa watching tv! Hahahaha. How about that as a lame excuse for not bloggin? :p
Anyways, the gals arranged an awesome bachelorette getaway for me n it was one of the best trips i ever had!! Finally...flying with a group of friends. Selalu terbang sorang2..tak best!! Flying alone makes me hate flying. :P

But we reached perhentian besar a lil tho; around 6pm. so we missed the lunch and tea time and the snorkeling session. But the view was just awesome! We lepak at a non-alcoholic bar that night, watching the blur moon and enjoying the beautiful breeze.

The 2nd day is activity day! Morning snorkeling and afternoon snorkeling. Gosh..i hate the post-snorkeling!! The tudung, the baju, the heavy trackbottom pants..arrghhh! and the hair lg..all dried because of the sea water. hmpph! but the 2nd snorkeling session was funnnnn!

A bachelorette will not work without at least 1 man. God had arranged for me 10! HAHAHAHAHAHA! These dudes were so cool la. Damn funny. but a bunch of gentlemen at the same time. best lah. :D

Malam, whole body massage. Although it wasnt the best Ive had, but boleh laa. Lepas tu lepak at the bar by the beach again, this time accompanied by clear sky, filled with stars and clear moon. gorgeoussss...........

But the view of the sea there...so breath taking! I never thought I would actually enjoy snorkeling la. (p.s- i hate getting wet!) but i found out sthing...i really dont like swimming with fishes!!!! for 3 reasons;
1. geli
2. i dont want to kacau their home la..
3. geli

But all in all, the trip was great!!! UNTIL...the trip back to KB airport. stupid-ass cab!!! dah la buruk..takde a/c..1 hour trip pulak tu! lepas tu charge as much as airport limo! tembak kanggg! arghhh! benci gila. but other than that, everything went well la. I would recommend Arwana resort in perhentian besar, good service and great food! :)

tak sabar nak pegi lagi la lepas ni...

tp now..back to reality...1 month to go...

*gulp*

I love the feeling when I make people happy! :D Some of my friends used to call me Mrs Santa 'cos I like giving presents. Let it be birthdays or Christmas or what ever is appropriate..I tend to give presents. Then again, I only give to those that matters to me. So peeps..if we just learn to know each other and you got a present for me, that means u r in my "My favorite" list. :) And it is my pleasure to show my appreciation and a lil smile on ur face.

So Happy Birthday and Congratulations and Happy Anniversary to anyone who is celebrating any of the mentioned today! ;)

I've been having loads of stuff to write for the past few weeks actually, but as usual la...don't have the opportunity to post em up here.
Anyways, you may find my entry title today a lil weird esp with the entry I'm about to write. But just hear me out, I have a point to make.

For the non-ignorant Malaysians out there, you will know that our fuel price had been raised 78cents from RM1.92 to RM2.70. My friends had made a lot of judgements on me for standing by government's decision.

I'm not exactly a pro or anti-gov. I'm pro justice ( and by that i don't mean im a parti keadilan fan either). I do agree that our gov had to cut down on subsidies. I mean..come on...it's not like we are in Brunei, with super rich government. We are talking about Malaysia here. We are not the richest country in the world, not even in Asia. I bet if there were any other ways for gov not to raise the fuel price, they would have exactly done that, don't you think?

The thing that annoys me most is when ppl argue on our fuel price with saudi arabia's!! GOSH! Y are you comparing to the world's largest petroleum providers?? We are not! Yes we export petroleum, but high grade quality for airplans and jets! We are the biggest palm oil provider. Not petroleum. So stop making yourself look foolish by comparing with countries where the petroleum sector dominates the economy, for example Venezuela, accounting for roughly a third of GDP, around 80% of export earnings, and more than half of government operating revenues!

Back to my title, I do also suffer from the new price. I might even be paying for petrol more than you! You may think I'm not complaining bcos you assume I have my parents paying for it. Guess what, I am! So I suffer just as much! My fuel per full tank is around RM140 now. With the pay I'm earning, I know I've gotta do some changes with ma daily spending.
And I'm sorry for the low-income group. I bet it is even more difficult for you guys. But make the best out of the situation. There must be a solution to everything.

But like I said, if you have a lemon, make lemonade. In this case, it can be a lemon if you want it to be. Maybe this is the chance for you smokers to quit so you can budget your spending better so you won't run out of budget. This could be an opportunity for our gov to improve the public transportation way way better; like Hong Kong's maybe. There's nthing you can do now about the price. You can go on complaining (which is what most Malaysians are good at)..but you gain nothing by just doing that. What arou you going to do now with the situation?

CHANGE. ADAPT. Do something about it. Make lemonade.

Good luck!

I've decided to have monthly resolutions! Why? Because a whole year resolutions never seem to work. U'll be exicted about it the longest in Jan...then that is it. At least if monthly, the chances of you actually doing it is there. And there's always something new. :D

This month's resolution? To drink my milk-high fibre-drink EVERYDAY! I hate drinking milk. I can consume it with koko crunch or honey stars..but that is it. But to just drink it on its own...IURHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

So anyways, I'm forcing myself now..and trying to find some kind of hidden taste-buds on ma tongue that will make me enjoy the process of drinking it. :P

What's your monthly resolution?

After being back here for nearly a week baru I have to time to report about ma awesome trip to HK last week.

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HK!!! i so can live there lah. its gorgeous, modern, and cleannnn!! goshh. I had a great time there. Although, I wish i could be there longer. 4 days was just too short lah. Didnt get to explore lots of places, just Disneyland, The Peak, Avenue of Stars, Ladies market, Computer Arcade (which i didnt put in ma budget..damn)...i guess that was it.

It was pretty tiring ofcourse. We walked a lot! we didnt take any cab. everything is through MRT or tram or bus. mmg la penat! :P the food we had was awesome too. Ebeenezer..i really recommend u if u r the type who needs spiciness in ur food. the briayani is just too good la. walaupun 20++ringgit...its just worth it la. at other times we are on maggie. hahaha

Anyways, I will definitely go there again. The shopping is just great. So was the view. I bet there are more places for to explore with ma camera. :D

Please feel free to browse through my photo album at ma facebook (just search Aina Nadzir) :)

I then realise, I cannot live without my gadgets! Be it a laptop or PDA or TV or even a normal handphone. I just CANNOT! I felt so empty without any laptop or pc for the past 2 weeks. goshhhhh!! which also answers why i havent been blogging! :P

will write soon. cheers!

Hahaha...ape la. I'm getting replies saying I'm emo la pulak with my last post.

No ma dear friends. Bukan emo. I just happened to come across this topic way to often for the past few days, which is why i decided to write..not cos nak lepas geram..but to REMIND and educate (for those yg a bit bengap :p)..that WE ALL have feelings, doesnt matter what size you are. So just mind your jokes and name calling. Don't do what you dont like to be done to you to others.

Thats all :)

Cheers~
Aina Nadzir
OMG...i tell you...I dont know why people think it is ok to comment on thin ppl's weight and size. You don't go up to some big person and say "My God..i think you need to lose 10kg!" do you? So don't do that to us too! What ever reasons that hold you back from saying that to a bigger person should be applied to thin people too.

I hate it..HATE IT..when ppl come up to me n say "eat more!!!". Do i need to record ma daily meal routine for you to analyze so you'll understand?? I bet i eat more than any of you! I dont skip meals, I exercise regularly (yes i do! despite skipping ma gym)...just like every normal, healthy peeps! i just happened to have a HIGH METABOLISM! Get it?

I usually put a deaf ear when ppl throw insulting comments on ma size and weight or take it as a joke, but it came to a point where enough is enough! I am writing this because I want people to be aware that it hurts just as much for a thin person to hear all the thin jokes and comments, just as it would to the heavy ppl. Stop calling names such as "papan" or "lidi" or what ever. Im fine with the way I am until u guys make me feel small for no apparent reason!

I am who I am and the outer shell should have nothing to do with the person I am on the inside, so please, if you make comments towards people who are tiny, please think before you speak. It's even more hurting if you are no stranger.

Unless you dont mind ppl throwing judgemental comments and insults about your size and weight, pls STOP it.

Peace~

ahhhh....historyyyy! finally i had the chance to vote. ma first vote.

a mixture of feelings, really. went at 8am with ma mom and dad to vote at a nearby school at ma neighborhood. was a lil upset at first cos they placed all the voting place on 3rd level of the school..and u have to climb stairs to get there. how the heck was ma mom supposed to do that?? (she just recovered from a 2 1/2 year of rest from breaking her leg bone). she asked the SPR person in charged if she could change to the ground flr voting rooms, but sadly they said No. damn..! I pity the old ladies who had to climb so many stairs to get up there to vote. aih..SPR is so gonna receive a complain letter.

Anyways, ma voting experience was pretty fast that I didnt even read bismillah before i voted! Hahahahhahahahahaa! i happened to come across ma voting room when searching for ma mom's. so i decided..well..lets just vote. its a historical moment...n i know ill remember for the rest of ma life cos i did sthing stupid! HAHAHAHAHHAHAA. no no...im not gonna tell u what! UNDI ANDA ADALAH RAHSIA...n also what ever happened in between! Hahahahahaha!

Selamat mengundi~!

I think the world started to turn upside down when most of us put ourselves before anyone else. The war, the fights, the hunger, the divorce, the misunderstanding. *deep sigh*
It's just FREAKING SAD!

I thank God..every single minute cos He gave me the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and others' and provide me guidance to avoid repeated mistakes. But being human, we can just try cant we?

The next time you feel like screaming your lungs out at someone for being late or causing trouble..or what so ever, pause and think. Was it on purpose?

Today, I was pretty pissed off with an agency I'm dealing with on CI stuff. I was supposed to get the CEO's business cards by morn, but instead I got it at 1pm. Yeah I was babbling ma way and all, but when I saw the effort the AE put..waiting for the printer at TM lobby and all..and apolagizing for the delay..i just replied to him "it's ok. I know you tried your best". He could have done better, maybe, but at that moment, I think that must have made him feel better. Even I felt better honestly!

Don't u feel good about yourself when you make someone feel good about emself? Aih...i wish I can do that at ALL times! I wish all my family members and my friends are like that. I wish everyone is more understanding..or at leat MORE ppl are more understanding. This world can survive better with SOME understanding ppl..to deal with the self-absorb/selfish people.

If only husbands could think twice before yelling at their wife and kids, if only children could think twice before yelling at parents especially their mothers, if only students could appreciate the educators' effort and vice versa, if only bosses respect their employees, if only your closest friend is not your closest enemy, if only everyone appreciate everyone else better.. if only everyone else treats everyone else the way everyone wants!

If only..

I hope all of us will be better with others and appreciate those around us.

God bless~

Cheers!

With the election upon us, it is more important than ever to get out and vote. Many people think that their vote does not matter. Imagine if everyone felt that way – we would never have a government!

Remember what happened the last election? Between Keadilan and BN somewhere in Penang? They had to recount the votes many times because of very very minimal vote. Was it 1? I can't remember. But that's how important a single vote is! So thinking that your vote does not count could not be farther from the truth.

Voting is method of voicing out. Neglecting your freedom of choice could be very harmful, not just for your generation but your children's' too! You do not need a friend to influence you to vote. Just think of yourself, your family.

I agree the up bringing is important. The family influence, the education, the surrounding. But i believe our government has given more than enough awareness on how important it is for you to vote. But at the end of the day, it is up to YOU. Do not blame anyone else but YOURSELF if you choose to THROW this privilege away with the excuse "my generation wasn't taught the importance of voting" or "none of my friends vote" (btw, excuse ma french, but i find that excuse is fucking stupid! didn't God provide you brains to THINK?!) or "i just don't care who rules and who doesn't. i support no one anyways". If you wake up one Sunday, and the new government made a change where you have to work on Sundays, do not yell ..do not curse. First kick yourself in the butt for not playing your role to choose good rulers.

Whether the excuse is apathy or laziness, voting has become a privilege that far many too Malaysians take for granted. The next time you neglect to vote, ask yourself how you would feel if you didn't have a choice – to elect a president, or choose a job, or decide how many children to have.

There are many countries where a person does not have a choice, and I'm sure they would gladly change places with you for the fundamental privilege of voting!

"Do not take for granted of what you have now as each day is different"

Today i FINALLLYYYYYYYYYY visited ita's farm. There were more than 20 goats there. With beards..with patches..white..black..brown..small..big..u name it, they have it. There were more 3 days ago. But someone bought em already. Oh and Ita cried looking at her lil goats being taken away. hahahahahhaa. what la u babe. This is why you shouldn't NAME your goats! esp when they are for sale!! :P

I am amazed with their amazing effort and hard work with their challenging business. The surrounding sceneries are nothing but ordinary, but somehow..I just felt calmed the whole time (except when the goats get near me :P). I think the place is amazing. I could 'smell' passion in the air. Then again, it might get mixed up with the poo smell :P

There were these few cuteeeeeeee baby goats. Gosh..if only I favor goats as much as hamsters. hahahahahaha. I couldnt and didnt even want to carry it. :P Geli laaaaa!

The best part was..the vege farm!!! I loveeeeeeeeeee vege! and i think..if ever la i nak start ma own farm..it will be on PLANTS and vege. :D animals are a big No-No! ahahahahaha. Im not good with animals. I'm good with vege. cos i loveeee em. :D Unfortunately, I was there with Aini who's not feeling so well..and dressed in ma pretty expensive jeans..so i didnt stayed that long. I think an hour plus je.

But i learn 1 thing. Saya seekor kambing kampung! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. While ashraf was explaining to me about how greedy goats are, he mentioned that "kambing kampung" are the greediest. They eat like piranha, but are forever thin! :)) Immediately it hit me...goshh..im a kambing kampung! Hahahahahahahha!

Anyways, to Ita and Ashraf, congratulations with your business..and I pray that everything goes well and you will always find happiness and satisfaction with what you guys do. :)

Cheers~

oh..and Happy Chinese New Year ppl! :D
