Ive been wanting to write something on ma blog for dayssss! But i never get to decide on 1 specific topic as there are so many things in ma head.
But after reading on "Student conned of RM 4800" in The Star, I finally decided to write on it.

1st rule in life. There is NO such thing as EASY money. You have to WORK to earn money. Yeah yeah you smarty pants! If you are gonna throw the "I get moneh easily from ma parents..no hard work what so ever" in ma face, keep in mind your parents are the one who has to WORK HARD to earn that for u. Bottom line, it doesn't come easily. And if it does, there must be a catch somewhere.

Vanessa Lee was conned by a legitimate corporation from Macao, saying that she won RM160,000 just by answering a question through a phone call she received days before that. The trick? Pay 3% of the amount, supposedly said as a rule by the bank, before she can receive her prize. Convinced by a friend from Macao who confirmed that it is a legitimate corporation and that her name is indeed mentioned on the corporation's website as a winner, she finally paid em that, just to find out later on that she has to sign up as a member, which cost RM 60k or they will forfeit the prize!

See...told you. There's no such thing as easy or free money in life.

My rule towards business; the best business is to start with 0 modal. Thinking I'm crazy? Maybe you should start reading more :P

And I'm never persuaded or convinced by people who starts a conversation on business with "you will get this much of $$$!" Business is not just about the revenue u get. Its also about the passion, and the hard work..the product, the process and what not! Yes at the end of the day, you want to be earning out of it. But if you only concentrate on that issue, you will never enjoy the process or appreciate it and you will fall HARD if your business fails.

So to you people out there who get calls or emails or what not about such thing..like "my very rich father passed away and he told me to donate my money to a Malaysian" kindda thing..or "answer a question and you might just enjoy shopping in DKNY with RM 60,000 worth of prize!" crap...pls use ur common sense before you jump off your seat excitedly.

And if you were to start a business, get 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinions from people who have experienced business world. Dont ask your potential boss ofcourse. Ask others, neutral people. No buyers. So you will know what you will face later on. Dont be blinded by the $$$, but see it in a big picture.

Good luck!

Cheers!
